About Us

Trysil Bicycle-service AS provides bicycle repair and maintenance services, as well as transportation, road-assistance and bike storage facilities in Trysil and the surrounding areas.

Supreme quality and great service, at all times and at the right price, with first-class help in a quick and efficient manner; that is our motto.

Our customers include tourists, cabin-owners and locals. Our aim is to provide services that are needed and wanted – every time.

Trysil has assumed the position of the prime bicycle destination in Norway, with areas for trail-biking and mountain-biking which are among the best in Europe. There are also plans to develop these further in coming years. As with the skiing areas during winter, the biking areas are designed to be used by the entire family.

Additionally, we aim to service local residents, who are in need of repairs, maintenance or storage of their bicycles.

A short description of our staff:

Mario Conde-Jaen is our chief mechanic. He has years of experience servicing bicycles and handling customers. For six years Mario was the head of the repair shop at Anton Sport in Oslo, and he also worked for two years for Merida in Spain. He knows all there is to know about bikes, and no challenge is too great for him. Mario is also an active runner and tri-athlete, and has a master’s in geography, so he is a guy you can talk to about many subjects, in English, Norwegian or Spanish.

Per Busk Myrheim is our trainee mechanic, as well as the computer-wiz. He has a lot of experience with mechanical and electronic problems through his job maintaining ski-lifts and snow-production machinery in the Trysil winter resort. He also assembles his own computers, and can service and use just about anything motorized. Per has also worked at the local Statoil filling station, and is known to many for providing great service with a smile there, in Norwegian, English and (slightly haltingly) German.

Egil Nordsveen is the managing director and account manager, and will handle invoicing, marketing and the transportation of bikes. Egil has experience from various businesses in which maintaining client relationships is vital. He is a marketing economist by training and has worked in banking and finance. Egil has participated in many mountain-bike sportives, and knows most bike-trails and dirt-roads in the Trysil area. He is hard-working and keen to ensure the complete satisfaction with our services for all customers, whether fluently in Norwegian or English, or, slightly haltingly, in French.
